Follow viscosity along the temperature profile
Some formulations thin as they warm; others change resistance as ingredients develop during processing. State inlet conditions and the expected behaviour through heating and cooling. Seeds, herbs and pieces add passage-clearance requirements to the fluid-property assessment.
Evaluate pump and circuit pressure together
Account for the resistance of tube passages, bends, valves, holding route and the receiving connection. Product sensitivity can constrain pump choice. The proposed equipment must meet the duty within the selected construction and pressure limits.
Consider deposits and run length
A recipe may form deposits on heated surfaces. Discuss product behaviour, expected production run, cleaning sequence and trial observations. An equipment photograph cannot establish fouling performance for a different formulation.
Make sauce preparation and filling boundaries explicit
Blending, concentration, upstream preparation and filling are separate operations unless listed in the order. Define the feed condition supplied to the thermal unit and the condition required at its outlet. Include the response to feed interruption or downstream stops.
