Use the ordered equipment layout
Position the frame with the real inlet, outlet, utility and cleaning connections identified. Confirm floor and support arrangements for the selected assembly. Do not scale dimensions or equipment ratings from a workshop photograph.
Allow access to return ends and joints
Removable bends, seals, valve seats and instrument connections may need isolation and opening. Provide access appropriate to the actual fittings and maintenance method. Adjacent plant pipework should not block those operations.
Make operator and cabinet access practical
Place the operator interface where the running equipment and process state can be understood. Confirm cabinet service space, cables and the surrounding conditions. The layout review should include emergency access and the site-specific installation requirements.
Agree installation and handover responsibilities
Separate equipment supply from connecting pipework, site services, installation and commissioning support. Request the drawings, operating instructions, agreed checks and relevant spares list for the supplied scope.
